“Advanced Digital Skills” training within 3LoE Project
Faculty members and instructors from a number of Departments and Institutes of our University are taking part in a two-day training (27-28 June 2022) in “Advanced Digital Skills”. The training has been organised within the 3LoE Project - an international cooperation of 22 partners whose goal is to educate specialists for the green economy. The effects of the training in the form of educational materials and evaluation sheets will be shared with more than 60 international associated stakeholders. Our staff will use the knowledge and skills in their educational work, including in our Bachelor’s dual study programme “Logistics - Green Supply Chains” - a defining task in the 3LoE Project, entrusted in Pomeranian University in Słupsk.
Among others, participants acquaint themselves with advanced issues connected with: operating systems, computer networks, machine learning, data and data quality, cloud computing, cybersecurity, educational platforms, etc. An important element of the training includes the presentation of hardware and software installed at our Pomeranian Centre for Digital Humanities. Interested in all technical novelties, members of the Centre are actively participating in the training. As an inter-departmental unit, the Centre will become fully operational in the next few weeks, with the start of research activities in September and October 2022.
The 3LoE Project is an important international undertaking carried out by our University. The overarching goal of the partnership is the creation of 7 Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) in seven countries: Austria, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and Spain. The project is co-funded by the EU within the Erasmus+ programme. The project is coordinated at our University by professor Marek Łukasik (institutional coordination) and dr Anna Rychły-Lipińska (content coordination). The training was prepared and carried out by Mariusz Terebecki, an expert from the Department of Cyberspace Security at the Institute of Management and Security.
