EEA Grants

The EEA Grants represent the contribution of Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway to creating a green, competitive and inclusive Europe.

 

There are two general objectives: reducing economic and social inequalities in Europe and strengthening bilateral relations between the Donor States and the EU-15 countries in Central and Southern Europe and the Baltic Sea area. The three Donor States cooperate closely with the EU under the Agreement on the European Economic Area (EEA).

 

The Education Program, for which the Operator is the Polish National Agency (FRSE), was established under the intergovernmental agreement on the implementation of the EEA Financial Mechanism for 2014-2021, concluded between Iceland, the Principality of Liechtenstein and the Kingdom of Norway, and Poland.

 

The main objective is to reduce economic disparities and resources in the area of ​​European economic areas, as well as moderate price changes in the area of ​​the European area. Optimization of financial resources (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway) in the field of education. Program activities have to strengthen tools and expand knowledge in Poland.
