A+ Lecture "Industry 5.0: Implications and Managerial Aspects for Polish industries"

The lecture entitled "Industry 5.0: Implications and Managerial Aspects for Polish industries." will be given by prof. dr inż. Mirosław Skibniewski from the University of Maryland, College Park, USA, and the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Informatics of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
About the researcher
Mirosław Skibniewski is a graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology and Carnegie Mellon University (USA). He is an expert in the field of management systems engineering in the construction industry and technology transfer. He is currently working on the implementation of the "Industry 5.0" strategy in various branches of the world economy. He is the author of several monographs and over 400 scientific publications, and the editor-in-chief of the scientific journal "Automationin Construction". Prof. Skibniewski is a laureate of many scientific awards in the USA and other countries, a member of foreign academies of science and an honorary professor and doctor honoris causa of prestigious foreign universities.
Abstract:
The new "Industry 5.0" paradigm presented at the the level of the European Commission proposes to integrate environmental protection issues, health and safety principles and increased resilience of infrastructure and systems to disasters related to climate change with the existing directions of industry and infrastructure development within the existing and currently implemented strategies within "Industry 4.0" paradigm, focused on the effective use of the latest achievements of computer science and automation, including artificial intelligence, wireless networks and robotics. The lecture outlines new directions of research and implementation work related to the "Industry 5.0" paradigm on the example of construction industry and transport infrastructure management.
